Our first cohort of Guardians graduated this summer. Ten community members completed eighty hours of training beyond what Virginia requires of armed security officers, earned their certifications, and continue ongoing training to maintain them. They are now standing ready to protect the synagogues, schools, and events they call home. Washington Jewish Week covered the graduation, and CTRI now holds its Virginia security license.

That happened because donors funded it. The next cohort is already forming. Your gift trains and certifies the Guardians who will serve alongside the first ones, community members protecting their own community, not contractors and not outsiders.
