Collective Threat Response Initiative
“Never Again” is not just a slogan - it’s our call to action!
Antisemitic threats are rising. Jewish institutions need professional security.
CTRI trains and equips volunteer guards — members of our own community — to protect synagogues, schools, and events.
We work with synagogues, schools, and Jewish organizations of any size or affiliation to build volunteer security teams that meet the highest professional standards.
How It Works
Institutions sponsor candidates from their own community
Volunteers are thoroughly vetted and trained
Training is rigorous — mentally and physically — to ensure readiness
Ongoing qualifications keep skills sharp and up to standard
Partnering
Stop the Bleed Training
CTRI is a Recognized Educational Partner of the Committee on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (C-TECC). Through this partnership, we deliver Until Help Arrives / Stop the Bleed training to prepare community members for medical emergencies.
These nationally recognized programs equip synagogue staff, congregants, and security teams with life-saving trauma care skills — ensuring our community is ready to respond when every second counts.
Simple skills save lives.

Seeking Veterans: A New Mission, A Lasting Impact
We welcome volunteers from the U.S. and IDF veteran communities, as well as current or former law enforcement. Your training, discipline, and experience are invaluable in protecting Jewish institutions and standing guard for our community.
By joining, you’ll gain a renewed sense of purpose — serving not only with skill, but with meaning, by safeguarding your own families and community. Veterans may also join regional teams to provide added support for major events and emergencies.
Your service continues. Your mission lives on.
We don’t get to pick the time or the place of the next attack against the Jewish community. All we can do is work to be prepared for it.
